how old is your set up? plants don't look very healthy, maybe converting from emmerge to submerge form...

you can paste the links directly here:

Can forget about HC in low tech, light too low, no co2.
Not sure about hairgrass, maybe need higher light.

    Thanks beetroot,
I can't paste the pictures here.

The windelov Java fern was planted for about 4 months already. While the moss in front just recently. I didn't doss any fert for the first 4 months.

I had just started dosing phosphorus with potassium 1 week ago. Hope it can kick start my plants growth.

Nutrients or Plant food have to be balanced, if you just dose one kind, you might find the tank tilting to a different off balance.

E.g. if you just dose iron and keep dosing in short interval, you might get algae built up with 8hrs of constant lighting.

Nitrogen, Potassium, Iron, Trace elements are some of the plant food I dose regularly for my tank. I might not be doing once every two weeks, I do it about every 3 weeks, plants are still healthy, kinda outgrowth at the moment you might say actually. Algae is currently not an issue for my tank, I do allow some algae built up on the drift wood but remove those from the tank glass. Too much algae will give a foul smell which you might not like.

Light looks kind of too bright. Hairgrass is possible, I've tried it on my 2ft non-CO2 with an old 36W PL light.

That is certainly not the only moss site around.

Like IT. You need to search first before you ask. So since you are free at times, you might just want to do some searching. Of course asking around would be the easiest but you tend to learn lesser than "exploring". Understand that by enhancing on this search skills, it will also help you on other skillsets to come.

Google is coming up some very very innovative way of doing things such as pointing your phone to a statue, take a pict, Surf the web and it will come up with the history of that statue. I am waiting for this with full heart.

Lastly, if you keen enough, goto Marsiling MRT then walk to BioTope, it may just be a halfshop, there are aquatic plants on display. Elsewhere I heard Thomson, but haven't been there so can't comment on it. Perhaps Stormy can come in to help you provided he is reading this thread.

Biotope is at Marsiling, about 5 minutes walk from the MRT station.
