    Any comments on which type of CO2 regulator (with solenoid and needle valve type) are reliable and what is the typical cost? If you can tell me where can get it, will be very much appreciated.

    hi,

    the most reliable brand i can think of is dennerel which come with a equally high cost of $280. thoes cheaper tiawan brand can be obtain at less than $150 but with a few compliant from a few bros here.

    as to where to get. pls refer to the lfs list as usual. nature aquarium is one of the most commonly talk about lfs in this forum.

    hey kenny you forgot bioplast regulators.....one of the feature of it is that there is a regulator chamber adjustment valve that reduces the air pressure to the needle valve.....a big plus if you ask me.

    Not sure how many ppl uses it, but i am one who is use it for the past 1 yr and no complains.

    No need to use spanner to tighten, use fingers can liao.
    No leaks
    fine regulation (down to abt 1 bubble per 10sec)
    Can add a solenoid
    can add a gauge meter

    Cost abt $150+++
