Get a fine mesh net, or just use an old handkerchief or something with a very small grid size. Use a siphon to suck out the BBS if you're hatching them in a small bottle, and pass the hatch water over the net/handkerchief. You are basically using it as a sieve, just like in baking or gold mining.

Once you're done draining the BBS out of the hatching container, just rinse under tap water or tank water to remove any trace of the hatching water, then transfer to a small container with clean water by swishing the net/cloth in the container. You should be able to see a HUGE number of BBS swimming around. They are best used right after hatching.

Some people just use a medical syringe to suck them out of their hatching container, and squirt directly in the tank. Caution: this only works in tanks where the fishes are salt tolerant.

which means the eggs shell are also contain in the net and put back to clean water ? the clean water need to put any additives ? or just normal tap water will do ? How long will they last in the clean water ?

do i need to put air bubbles for them ? feeding required ?

    Thanks

Yes some egg shells will be trapped in the net along with the BBS during the collection stage. This is inevitable at times.

No need for additives in the clean water. The point is to feed the BBS ASAP upon hatching. You can keep some alive longer, by placing them back in the hatching water in a plastic container in the fridge. Note that you'd have to do the sieving part again afterwards.

During hatching, some people will use an air pump to aerate the hatching container. This makes the eggs hatch faster I think, since they're constantly agitated by the air bubbles rising. No feeding is required, unless you wish to enrich them. Thing is, they have no mouths until they have molted for the first time. Which is why you must use them within the first few hours of them hatching. Any later and they are not as nutritious.

Some people keep them as pets, like those Sea Monkey kits they used to sell at 7-11. In those cases, they'd usually feed the BBS with food so that they'll eventually grow up to be adults.

Re: How to Extract the bbs after they hatch

Assuming you hatched the bbs in 100ml of salty solution with aeration for overnight.

The next morning, you need to transfer your hatched bbs in a bigger container. and top up with water (maybe 200ml to 400ml). Let the hatched bbs stay undisturbed for a while (5 - 10 mins). the shell should float at the surface of the water. the shell can be removed with the help of a dropper. The "un-hatach" brine shrimp eggs will sink to bottom. Your nice and delicious bbs would be swimming around just above the unhatched bs eggs. carefully transfer these hatched bbs in to a coffee bag drainer. Rinise them under running water. Last rinise them with {seachem prime} treated water. turn the drainer out and dip it into a small container with treated/aged water. stand for 10-15mins. the bbs will be swimming above the unhatched eggs. use a dropper to pick up the bbs. And you are to feed your precious fishes.

Enjoy!! Feeding time is the best time to enjoy your hard works!!! looking at them dashig for the kill...

    hope it helps.
