hi guys, was thinking whether should i get a dolphin chiller for a 1.5ft cube. not quite sure about its function yet. instead of running 24/7 is there any temperature timer that could switch it on/off when it hits a certain temperature? Is this feasible?

    thanks

    Re: Temperature timer?

1st of all, you must understand why these TEM chiller runs 24 hours is because it did not reach it's target temperature that has been set by the owner. If it was a normal refrigerant based chiller, it would have reached the desired temperature set by the owner in a matter of time. All chiller will have an auto shut off mechanism when it reaches it's set temperature. Some chiller will switch off at the desired set temperature while other has a .1 or .2 variance until it switch off.

    Hope this helps!
