I see your glosso is doing quite well bro. Do you have chiller for your tank? What lighting are you using? I failed a few times, gave up. Now am trying to start rescaping my 4 ft tank. Need to get inspiration from you guys

I'm not using any chiller at all. I'd tried glosso twice and quite proud to say that they do not require chilled water to grow well. but probably with chiller, they might look nicer. but it is perfectly okay without one.

I'm using 2 x 24W T5HO
injecting c02 at 1bps.

Gllosso shoudn't be too hard to grow... try again bro.. shouldn't be an issue really.

ya.. they do dash around but it does not cause much of an issue other dan disturbing the substrate. are u still keeping discus in ur planted tank ?

Do your glosso have uproot problem? My glosso tend to have such problem when the runners overlaps each others for 4 layers.

yeap.. once they overlapped... their roots will not be able to reach the ground.

So to prevent this.. i guess we gotta trim them frequently but obviously i did not. =)

actually i believe the background plant behind the stone is blyxa japonica, not japanese hair grass.. japanese hair grass is like hair grass, only shorter and curlier i think.
