How long should I leave my light on?

Hi.. I would like to ask how long should I leave my lights on for my moss tank? 8hrs? Thank you.

I leave my lights on for about 9 hours a day. My timer will switch the lights on at about 12 noon and switch off at about 9 pm. I don't think it will make much of a difference if you leave them for an hour or two longer or shorter. With mosses, it's not so much about the lights but the temperature. Keep your tank cold and the mosses will thrive.
