Hello.
I'm just wondering if anyone has experiences with this skimmer.
I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you![]()

I'm using this ISTA skimmer that is connected to my small external canister (simliar to Eden 501). Interestingly, the pipe from my filter doesn't fit in nicely but it can still hold it quite well. So I didn't have to use an extension to hold it onto my piping. What do you want to know about it. So far, I'm happy with mine, although would have preferred a black coloured filter but since my tank is a planted shrimp tank, I hid it behind the plants.

thanks everyone![]()
Tank: 48in(H)x18in(W)x28in(H) | filtration: 2x2000LPH canister | substrate: Up-Aqua Aqua Soil | fertilizer: EI+pressurized CO2 | light: 2x54W T5HO+2x150W halide+2x moonlight

I'm thinking of getting this surface skimmer for my Eden 501. Do ya guys think thats a good idea ? I'm wondering about fitting issues and stuff. Anyways those that are currently using this skimmer, does it hug the surface of the water well ? My previous skimmer didnt do too well, it only either rose too high or sank too deep and it always makes alot of gurgling noises when it gets too high. Any noise with this one ?
Thanks in advance![]()
