    Hi Everyone,

Recently i have bought a 2nd hand Resun CL-280 Chiller but it doesnt come with a user manual, therefore got a few queries and hope someone in this forum could asisst to answer them.

I am using Resun CL-280 for a 3ft tank and is set to a temperature of 24 deg C. Just wondering if CL-280 is suitable to be used for this setting. Will this setting overload the Chiller?

I also understand that CL-280 is using R134A as the refrigerant medium. Just wondering do i need to refill the medium after sometimes? Where can i refill the refrigerant medium?

    Thanks..

3 footer should be the max this chiller can support, but expect it to kick in often to maintain the temperature.

We seldom need to top up the gas unless there are leaks, if so it will have to be done by the pros as you will need a regulator and gauge to properly fill up.

Do a search in the forum, i think there are some that offer the topping up of gas commercially.

    Cheers
