overhual shrimp tank. how to catch shrimplets

Hi,

I am planning to overhual my shrimp tank. but having difficult trying to net the shrimplets. Anyone have a better ideas??

I used a small (3cm x 2cm) Net with very fine weave.

Also I had to space the catching out over 2 days for the sake of my eyesight (and sanity)

Helps to starve them for a day, then put some food into a glass jam jar, and leave it submerged for a few minutes. Then just cover the mouth with your net and lift the trap out to transfer.

Drain out the water a low level, use a plastic white spoon to pick up the shrimplets.

Use the small net and try to spread the catch within a few days if possible.

Be prepared to lost some because they are too tiny.
