Light question

Currently i have riccia/Moss/Java fern in my tank,Using gex soil(green pack).But after reading through some pros posting,i need to have strong lights for riccia.Currently i am using the hopar t5 2 tube 2x 14w lightset.
Any bros can kindly advice

1.Buy another lightset to be used together with the current lightset

2.Change the tube to a more higher watt.

My tankset is 2x1.5x1.5 currently having pressurized CO2 injection 3bps.Light on for 9hours.How much watts i need for this tank?I will be also considering getting some glosso to try on in future.

your tank is about 30 gallons.
the guide is 2-3watts per gallon.
so you should be aiming for at least 72watts.

most likely you'll need to add another light set.
you may not be able to use higher wattage tubes because you'll be limited by the ballast in your current light set.

Tks bro...just went to upgrade my light set to 4 tube t5HO 24wx4....now selling my 14wx2 T5HE.So total is 96w...is it a bit of overkill for my 2ft x 1.5x1.5 tank?

since you purchased a new light set already, don't worry about overkill.
let it run for a while and adjust from there.
if the light level is too high (more algae), try to reduce the number of tubes by 1. you will need to adjust your fertilising regime; add more.
