Tank & nice cabinet

Happy to introduce myself; a new planted aqua enthusiast. I'm really impressed with your open sharing of knowledge and experience. Have been doing some reading and can't wait to set up my own planted tank, and will appreciate help from the forum. First thing is to look for a nice cabinet with tank... a 3x2x2 to start.
Where is a good place to purchase a not too bulky or "boxed up - look" cabinet? anyone can suggest?

Thank you for your response; and also the old threads I could refer to. Had managed to find the tank+cabinet at Nature Aquarium; ended up buying a 4x1.5x2 and a 2x2x2 cube tank with cabinets of different height, with formica to match my home interior.
For equipment, what would be good suggestions for the 2 tanks? and any good second-hand for sale?
a) filters - Eheim 2075 for 330L, and Eheim 2026 for 220L
b) chillers - Hilee or Resun?
c) CO2

Hi eager, at the moment i don't have Eheim accessory, but do have a Rena XP3 canister filter to let go.

Hello there, filter is about 4 years and for 250-600l, flow rate 1350l/h. Condition 9/10. Price is $80 without media.

Actually, you don't have to stick to LFS to get fish tank cabinets. Can always visit normal furniture shop to get it, or just walk around a few more places like QianHu. Giant furnitures are DIY, mostly the "wood" can pop up once it touch one drop of water. Ikea likewise. You need some solid wood so a "real solid wood" is really your consideration.

Just an impression for you.

- You want something that can take the weight. So solid wood materials is a must.
If you try carrying a 3ft tank, you find it to be difficult, at least need two person w/o the water. Plus water, even moving the tank is almost impossible. Rose wood is good.

- You want perhaps one door for external filter and one door for CO2 tank. So two doors on each side looks fine. Not to mention you might want to keep your accessories and medicines.

- You DO NOT want some cabinet which is too tall. So anything taller than 85cm, you might have reaching problem for changing water and feeding.

- 3ft is about 91cm. A length of 1m is recommended. And yes, you might want to consider some kinda cushion between the tank and the cabinet.

If you are planning to go Qianhu, they do have a shop area for you to look at eheim filters. Yishun AquaStar trading, Clementi Blk 328 (aka C328 are also lookable for equipments whichever is nearer to you.
