    Hi

I am just wondering if any of you have installed night lights for your tanks. I read of one in another site but they were using led lights. Is there anyone using other non-led types in the lfs ?

    Tks for help.

    not using any night lights.
leds are used because they last very long and consume less power compared with bulbs.
even if the lowest wattage light bulbs are used, they could be too bright.
unless a light dimmer is used.

Try the lower watt bluish FLs?
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

    Hi,
Incase you're interested in the fairly cheap night light set up*
I belive I read the same article about the night lights. Haven't got around to hooking them up, but I've sourced a shop in sim lim, 3rd lvl(near the escalators), that has the blue and red leds. Test for the same brightness as the shop has varrying grades of brightness for each leds.

Tks for replies. I might try the Sim Lim option.
