glass inlet? are you talking about lily pipe? if so, for lily pipe, you can raise the outlet and it will solve the issue
Hi guys, as mentioned above. How would you fix a surface skimmer if your using a glass inlet? All the surface skimmers i have seen so far are attached to normal plastic type pipes which has a surface tube to draw in the protein/scum. However it's not possible for the glass type the way i see it. Anyone can enlighten me? Thanks in advance.

but won't raising the lily pipe cause too much surface agitation such dat CO2 loss is increased?(i meant the glass inlet actually. both my outlet and inlet are glass.)Or do i have to manually shift the lily pipe up and down everyday when the film forms? Is it possible/advisable to have a splitter for inflow to the canister such that i can use 1 of it for a dedicated skimmer? Cheers and thanks for the response![]()
you do that when the light off. ell actually if your plants are healthy you see less of those surface oil. You can also add surface dweller fish like guppy or molly
So why not just change the inflow to skimmer? it will look cleaner than 2 inlet (glass + skimmer).
