bossteck, lol...neither have I. I using Hagen Nutrafin AquaPlus to dechlorine. Quite good. 1 cap of it good for a 3ft tank water change. You ask me to wait 24hrs every time, I really cannot make it.

Me neither, but I'm planning to try it as well. I think only the regeneration part is a little troublesome, but if it changes colour to tell you that the effect is exhausted, at least you can know when to change.

Purigen doesn't seem to absorb chlorine or chloramine, though I think it should act on the ammonia part of the chloramine. In any case, using it together with a chlorine/chloramine remover, it should work pretty well. I got some BGA in my tank now so I want to see if this stuff has an effect on the organic bit.

    Hi bros,

Just placed the holland ram in the hospital tank with the itch treatment. Then i noticed something, the stomach area of the ram has reddish tint to them. Is this something i should be worrying about? he seems to still be happily swimming about though. no sign of weariness besides the white dots on his body.

As advised by bros, i have placed some activated carbon into the tank directly, as theres no way i could squeeze the sachet into the tiny eden 501. i placed it near the outlet so there should be plenty of water flow through it.

    Do advice on the ram.

If it is a purplish colour, then your Ram is a female in breeding condition. If your Ram was a male Ram and it developed this reddish colour within the body, then you have a problem.
