    Hi, would like to know from exprienced marine hobbyist,is it ok to have a overflow system in a marine setup. thanking in advance for the feed back

    yes... in fact me using one which is then connected to the sump

    overflow setup is gd becoz u can not only add more water vol. but u can put all unsightly equipments like skimmers, probes etc etc into ur sump.
