    Hi
recently cleaned my Eheim 2213 as water was getting cloudy, over the next few days instead of becoming clean, the water turned green!
i went to ask the uncle at my lfs, he said to raise the pH by putting some crushed coral chips + ocean free bacteria 8000 (i think)(i added double dose for 3 to 4 days according to instructions on the box)
oh recently i even added some duckweed to remove nitrate so as to not encourage the algae growth, i also turned off the light and feed my fishes once every 2 - 3 days.
any bro out there knows any solution to my problem? the water is still turning green-er as we speak.
    so yes
    HELP!

    Re: Green Water Problem!

hi! if i m not wrong. the tank is under filtration, over lighting. bacteria loss due to u have washed ur filtration system.
i suggest to you is that, wc 50% off ur lighting for at least 5days or 1 week, bring up ph. add some photo systheisic bacteria(psb).
hope this helps =) enjoy ur hobby=))
