Maybe the fan's bearing needs some lubrication, or the air filter is clogged? You might want to have a look. Some people don't clean their air filters on the chiller.

Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.

perhaps spraying some WD-40 on the fan may solve the problem.
but be careful.

if you have not used a chiller before, maybe that is the normal sound. Have a bro come down your place to check if it's the "normal" level of noise.
If you have used one before, then maybe try to do as per the advices above.

Hi All Si fu,
Thanks for the reply! Appreciate the suggestion, will check it and see how is going on. The noise is not come from the Fan, sorry for misleading..
and if the compressor having problem, will it cause this kind of Noisy sound??
The noise is very obvious and louder approx 25% more than a running fine chiller..
Please help?![]()

hi bro, what is the brand of the chiller...
years of usage...
the cause can be the nut holding the fan might be loose..
secondly it can also be the fan motor..
thirdly the compressor...
In a chiller there are only 2 moving parts that can make noise. (if i'm not wrong).
1) the fan
2) the compressor
Isolate one and you can easily know the cause.

Hi All bro,
alright, i will observe it and see how is going on.
by the way, as the fan making noise , i can understand that it might due to the bearing or dirt problem.
But what if compressor make noise, what will be the cause? hmm, is that due to lack of those refrigent ? or is that due to the compressor is over compress or over work?

There is motor oil inside the compessor, if it gets dry up due to leak, it will cause the noise.

I used to have a resun CL650, and i changed the fan before. Went to those hardware shop selling fans and just get the measurements right and a brand new fan is as quiet as a mouse. This is the simpler of the 2.
But if compressor, gone case. I am lost cos know nuts about how the compressor works.![]()

You can take your chiller down to Bioplast for free estimate, they don't charge a fee for problem diagnostics.
