    As above, how do you guys clean algae on "acrylic" tank. Out of curiosity although i dont have acrylic tank myself. Do we still use scraper, credit card to clean also?

    Throw in snails for a few hours per days, returning them back each time.

    What the marine aquarists are using on their acrylic tanks is Melamine sponges (Available at Daiso.) These sponges will even remove stubborn coralline algae which can be incredibly hard to remove even with a credit card or plastic scraper.

    Though it is not recommended for fish tank cleaning (for reasons unknown) most of them who have been using these sponges have experienced no ill effects, even after prolonged usage (weekly cleanings over a year or more.)
