Well, since I m starting on crayfish, might as well put it in new thread.

    Start with this.

Went for crayfish catching last weekend at one of the river in Penang, Malaysia. Tips from a friend.

The river its dirty and smelly. First I doubt bout there its crayfish inside. I trow in dry squid, and soon see few crayfish crawling out. Well, I have prepare net and bucket. Capture 4 pieces.

Its a red claw crayfish. Origin from Australia. It was in our local river because there its a crayfish farm uphill the river. I heard there its people breeding for export as food. The one I got, size of 4cm length.

This morning I found out one of it, molded.

I also added PVC pipes, for them to hide.

    This is the short video.

The crayfish now are doing very well. I might go back after CNY to catch some more. Next time, I will shot a video on the place I capture. :-)

    Hi Flashout

I am currently looking to find redclaw farms in Malaysia.
Could you let me know where did you find these redclaws from ?
Or some info on any farms?

    Thanks for your help
