    Hi all,

Found my baby sen to be rather inactive today, it has been resting at the same spot before, and after my dinner. A closer look at her when I realized her left arm was red with blood. Would the use of Melafix be probable in this case, as an antiseptic to the exposed wounds. I'm not sure but I'm thinking that 1 of my 3 other juvi sens might have snapped on the baby sen's arm while I was at the office.

Haven't seen my baby bichir swimming to the top for air, so I decided to keep her in a 10x10cm miniature cube tank with a water level of about 4-5cm.

How can I hasten the healing/regen process? Please advise, thank you.

i think it's more stressful by putting him in a 10x10 tank.

you should put him in a bigger tank, with hiding place and good filtration so that it can recuperate well. a less stressful environment plays and important part in fish well being.

i would suggest the above and monitor closely, like whether it is eating well or not and observe whether the wound gets better overtime, say in a week's time..

Regeneration is slow, took about 3-4 weeks' time before I could see the regrown finlet. Regrowth is imbalanced resulting in wobbly swimming.
But he's looking good for now. A small hunter preying on young feeder ghost shrimps.

The last time I saw there were red dots resembling bit marks on the same fin. Repeated attacks from my bigger Sens or possible a recurring fin infection?
