Yes my friend but ipad jokes a bit outdate already.Who will say anything once this is popularised. Possiblity is endless, replacement of newspaper, books, everything that runs on the current iphone runs on this little thingy. New gadget old tech. old apps., rival to andriod, etc. The list could go on forever.

US Version is unlocked meaning SG can use. BUTTTTT.....for microSIM. I think Singtel still testing it. Other Telcos don't support MicroSIM yet.

this is the USB to 30-pin connector. it's meant for you to sync and charge from a mac/PC, just like the iPhone. as far as I can see no where it says there is a USB port on the iPad.Originally Posted by Blue Whale

Way down at the bottom of the specs. You see those accessories. The camera also USB. Non-MAC users will have losta question marks.
iPad Dock

Wah...hard to spot this one. Very small.
What I understand this to mean is: the 2/3-pin power plug has a USB port which you can use your standard USB to 30-pin cable to charge (USB side to power plug, 30-pin side to iPad).
the iPhone comes with such an adaptor too.

No it has NO USB. That is one downside. The usb port is only for Charging and syncing. Can't be used as a USB port.

exactly, until apple officially supports a way to access external storage, and for external access to internal storage, I don't see things like iWorks to be very useable.
in fact now I use dropbox to simplify the accessibility of some documents on the iPhone to an external device.

the card reader simply allows the iPad to read the card, you still cannot access it as a file system.
and as I was saying, the keyboard dock can only support docking in portrait. much better if they make it as a cradle and the docking connector to be on a flexible cable so that you can turn the pad sideways.

^^ I still like my vaios z. xp, usb...easier to work with. I getting headaches just going through the ipad.
The support with Apple is definitely good even if you are out of warranty. But a non-changeable battery also have its own draw back. Apple is still not reading that from consumer too.
the reason the battery is not changeable is that they can cram the max amount of electrolyte into the space without sacrificing it to multi layers of casing, connectors, bracing, etc. frankly 10 hours of LCD operation in such a slim body is quite amazing.

BTW my stated requires must be apple supported ones. iPhones can be jailbroken to do similar things (access internal storage) but that's not the point.
