    betta crazy out there just to share, my red dragon hmpk eat the egg why is it? i just take out the male yesterday manage to save 20fry. i hope the fry will be nice like their parent. my male is around 4-5month and female is around 2plus-3mth. what happen? why the male eat the egg?

    The egg not fertilised so the male eat them to prevent them from rotting and spreading to the other eggs

    some males do have the habit of eating eggs or else some are still in their first few spawning rounds and tend to eat eggs, in this case he wil be fine after few more spawnings.

    you can try artificial hatching.
    Remove the eggs after they have mated
