    Hi,

How do I know whether there is any leakage at the connection between my regulator and my CO2 tank?

I connected the regulator to the CO2 tank and opened the main valve, the meter reading was 1050psi. I then closed the valve and went to sleep. The next morning, the reading dropped to 800 plus psi. Is this normal?

Roughly how many rounds do I need to turn the main valve of the tank to ensure that there is sufficient opening for the CO2 to escape from the CO2 tank?

    Thanks.

Wayne...I hope I got your name right...the pressure metering gauge can be a bit problematic at times....wait and see if the meter reading keep falling or not..if it does not fall any lower and maintain, you should be fine. (The meter gauge might have stuck at the high point during the initial surge in pressure..)[]

Are you using the main valve that is on the cylinder itself to be adjustment valve for you CO2?...this should not be so. The main valve of the cylinder is to be opened which goes into the regulator. From the regulator goes into the needle valve for fine adjustments.

    Hi,

My CO2 system ok liao. I realised that I did not open the main valve enough coz the pressure increased back to over 1000psi after I turned the main valve more (now about 1/2 a round, previously about 1/4 round).

How many rounds of turning on the co2 tank handwheel is recommended to open and release into the regulator?

just turn it enough for the regulator to do it's job.
    maybe 1/2 to 1 turn.
