    Bitaeniata 'shishita' & Bitaenta blue? Same species different colour?

    I have stopped since the last time some diseases killed all my apisto collection. Been thinking about it, but somehow I just couldn't pull the trigger to start again. I still prefer A.Inka, maybe I'll wait for the next shipment to come.

    Bitaenta blue (2.5cm) $20 per pair
    Galaxis (3cm) $20 per pair
    Nijsseni (2.5cm) $20 per pair
    Shishita (3.5cm) $20 per pair

    from their ad in another forum. But very diff to see all the tanks quite low & fish looks scared therefore not much colour.

    May i know what Apistogramma do u have in mind?
    I suggest next time bring some old newspaper then sit down, it will be better.

    If got time, may be i will go down to take a look at the Apistogramma bitaeniata "Shishita". May be will get a pair.

    On the floor is the best provided, place is dry and air conditioned.
    Preferred not so crowded at times.
    so can take own sweet time to choose.
    Maybe can spot a bonded pair.

    Below is my "stressed" Shishita male from NKS, just grap 1 male as i was runing out of time. Can see some of the Shishita have settled down nicely at NKS. Even got a chance to see group of 3 flaring at each other. i will go back for to get the female soon. Those who are interested, better move fast :

    i am actually spoil with choice, got many nice one in there, but i just cant get all
    BTW, i have not get a Shishita female yet.
