Today I bought three cherry shrimps and place them with two Yamato shrimps in a 18cm by 15cm by 14cm tank. I'm using a small internal filter, Atman At-301. There's only Anubias nana in the tank and I'm providing fish food for them. What do I need to make sure they live happily?

some moss and hiding places will keep them happy.

Yamatos tend to bully cherries though, especially at feeding time.

Do moss need CO2 reactor or something? My tank is lowtech btw. And also will yamato shrimp hunt/kill baby CS? (if there's one)

Give them the proper care and concern (maintain tank and feeding proper food) and you will find that they are breeding machines XD
If keeping Exotic shrimps are easy then there will not be Exotic prices.

After some observation, I think I have 1 female and 2 males. Hopefully they can breed and build a colony. hehe

After buying the moss and resetting the tank, I noticed that the shrimps like to get close to the bubbles near the filter and they will float along the current. They look more active after the changes. Is that normal for RCS? Can they live in strong current? And by the way, I've removed the Yamato shrimps.

I've 1.5ft and 2ft tanks but not willing to put in more effort in setting up the tanks. lol

And btw, I don't have any light for the tank. Will sunlight sufficient for the moss?

Sunlight will increase the water temperature and kill your shrimps. Try to maintain your temp at 28 or below. Java moss is good enough for your tiny tank and shrimplets because Java moss no need soil to grow. Remember to cover your tank, yamoto will jump out.

what gravel is that? Look like coral chip. If it is so, bare tank will be even more suitable.

Not necessary for cherry, you can use pebbles that will not increase pH, which is good enough, a bare that will work as well. No need to be fanciful and waste money.

I'm using small pebbles, not coral chips.

Mosses grows well with little light, hmm maybe you would want to invest on a cheap clip on light?

After just 2 days of introducing the moss, the water turns out to be greenish colour. Is it because my filter is not good enough to 'clean' the water? There are bad odor too. I'm worried the shrimps aren't getting good water.
