Silicon the Tilandsia on the background
And added the rest of the stuff in e.g. organic compost, planted the Jewel Orchid, added some pine chips/ketapang leaves

hey desmond,
That's awesome viva set up especially the background and the pond.what do you call it, desmond?
I wonder why this viva this set up that you add plenty of dead kepatang leaves to beautify it or create some dead leaves smell in viva?
Thanks bro Eddy, you're too kind as the background was simply silicon of fern panel and cork bark. Compared to your 6ft Viv background, now that's what I would call effot and hardwork![]()
The pond wasn't too well plan too as it is simply a "Stone" deco overturn, filled with gravels and a small pump hidden under the Moai Statue for water movement... the rock wall was sort of last min addition as I used to have 2 10in cube tank with US Fissiden, Thai Fissiden, Mini Pelia, Spiky Moss, Xmas Moss and as the 2 tank grown neglected without trimming I thot y not put the mosses and rocks to good use... hence the last min rock wall... I thot it would be nice to have a "Waterfall" created using the rock wall... guess that's the next minor upgrade :
I was thinking of putting my 3 vampire crabs and from my reading and research they like to have leaf litter in the setup and in most vivarium, folks overseas use leaf litter so that the frogs won't get the soil stuck on them and irritating them... I guess it looks more natural too
Good for you, Desmond! well done!I like that.
So, ah pui will be staying there.
I just received FOC spiky mosses from beetroot. Now all the moses been grooved within the corkbark. hopefully will spread nicely.
will update more pix when the my palu go mature
make sure the doors are closed... if not they will go round your house and suck blood......By the way, i just did my up 2 feet skeleton. wil start a thread later.
nice tank and set-up .
by the way have you guys seen the white crab with long eyes sold at Y618 ,not sure if its still there , is it a brackish crab ?
look what I got today??Are these the Horn Eye Ghost crabs that has been in the news lately?
Wanted to get another 2 more pairs of Vampire crabs but no more already and saw these Horned Eye fellas and fell in love with them... ain't they adorable? Going to put them together with the other 3 forever hiding Vampire Crabs in the office... hopefully they get along and do well if not I'm going to set up another tank for them

DON'T!!!!
Do not mixed them unless you want your vampires to have a stake driven across their chest...
BTW, where did you get them and mind pm me the price?
the horned eye ghosts crabs are whitish in colour and the sizes sighted are around those of the rainbow crab and yes. they are brackish crabs.

These are not Horned Eyed Ghost Crab. Bro, you better do some homework on these crabs first. Cause some of these might need brackish water to survive. Cheers!
