    Hi all! hope someone can shed some light!
    i've got 12 sakuras, 10 crs & over 90 shrimplets in my tank, yesterday, i spotted one large sakura mauling a shrimplet! is that normal? am feeding them once a day, thinking perhaps am not feeding them enuf?
    help!!

    that shrimplet should be dead already before your sakura ate them

    Yeah I also think that the shrimplet was most likely already dead.

    Not necessarily dead. The shrimplet could be sick/dying, or maybe it just molted and is weak, happened to be in the path of the adult shrimp, and got attacked.

    A healthy shrimp/shrimplet won't likely turned into a meal for other shrimps.

    Feeding twice a day may end up with other problems, where unconsumed food either attracts pest or rots in the tank and polute the water.

    A possible solution.
    Provide enough hiding space, with driftwood and plants. This not only provides hiding space but possibly helps cultivate micro-organism for the shrimps (food).
