er.. actually you would be surprised that you may get more ramshorn snails even though you only have one. If I am not wrong some species of snails can reproduce by itself. Its got to do with the ability to switch sex as it likes i think.

Thank you bro Spid for the amazing shrimps and for showing your tank setups
May change the hardscape maybe next week as im still curing some nice driftwoods i found from seaview
Tank Size: 40 x 23 x 24
Filter: Sponge Filter + Gex S HOF loaded fully with S size Ceramic Rings and Eheim Substrat Pro
Flora: Amazon Frogbits + Hornworts (thanks to bro Spid's generosity)
Fauna: 10 Snowballs + 3 Boraras urophthalmoides + 1 Ramshorn Snail (http://www.seriouslyfish.com/profile...es++++&id=1284)
Tank placed on desk to help me destress..
Best HOF for its price and media capacity..only downside is the vibrating noise it gives out
Jam-loaded with media
Snowballs..with some berried ones
Last but not least, the only ramshorn in the tank! to prevent it from mating heh heh![]()

Yes, ramshron snails are hermaphrodites, meaning they have both male and female sex organs. Furthermore, they can store sperm, so even if they mated earlier, they can store the sperm for use later. Get ready for a ramshorn army![]()
