Photos will help those among us who know the scientific name, but not the common chinese name.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
is it the helicopter?

Was at WuHu yesterday. These are in the small glass tanks where he puts terrapins and kuhli loaches. I believe they are juvenile banjo catfish Bunocephalus.
See http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...?species_id=25
I'm a catfish noob, could be wrong about this...
AH! I had been wanting to sneak back for a picture but could not find the chance. Thanks Enda!
Yes indeed, this fish is housed together in the kuhli loach tank!
Ahhh...the side fins really stands out, really looking like little airplanes but now that I see the adult sized pictures...
So big...小飞机 become Boe747
hahahahha but the small ones really cute, tempted to buy, but hold out as want to find out more, then saw the link, 4.5 inch when adult................ quite a big different.

Hara hara
yes i think mine looks more like the anchor catfish.. so i guess these guys do not grow large right? I observed mine barely ever move, and I have never spotted them eating anything, so i am really wondering how they survive so long. they probably feed in the dark i guess..
Spotted a tank full of them at Polyart as well. Damn, tempted to buy some for office tank!
If they are the Hara species, or Akysis species, they seem to like live foods, especially worms. It might be difficult to get them to take dried foods at first. I kept some in the past but they would only take live or frozen food. They are however, not immune to night time hunting of smaller animals, like shrimplets.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
I was about to post an id thread on this cute fish today until I saw this thread. Here is my photo of the fish.
