Saddening news in the morning. had this type of feelings before. Just buck up and create a better living environment for them to live and you will see results.

Yeah, since I shifted them to the non-fully cycle & smaller tank, I been getting this feelings every now and than.... so far if I am not wrong total casuaties are around 15 pcs..... real saddening..... hence need to get a 2ft tank (my mother-in-law house no space for bigger tank.) to house them again before my new house ready and a a 3ft tank with chiller.....

last time when i was just a newbie, i lost about 30-40 A-SS grade CRS due to temperature factor. Well i never give up and keep on trying. Finally i see results only after 6 months. So, please read-up before jumping into CRS keeping.

If i were you, i will just move the whole set up minus the soil into the smaller tank and just hook up everything else like chiller and canister back. At least you don't have to worry about ammonia or nitrate spike due to soil moving. And remember to add shrimp tonic before you do the moving. Gives them extra immunities.
