    Hiyo all!

Now here is a thread that is open for discussion. There are three figures.

Figure 1 shows the typical lights of any T5, PL, FL or even some MH lights.

Figure 2 shows the typical clip on lights E.g. MH.
Just take it as a front view, not side view.

Figure 3 shows another kind of arrangements not commonly found.

Question comes. Which would you choose? Is it because the current design that you have is nice? easy? cheap? less heat? WPG contraints? Easier to feed the fish? Easier to maintain the tank?

I am using 1 set of 2xT5 10K tubes like figure 1 with another back row of LED Lights below and behind the tank just below the black sand bed.

It depend on the reflector of the light set. Most MH and T5 are like the figure 2 while led light set are figure 1. I would think the owner preference will depend on the light set mounting kit that he has. Mostly figure 1 and 2 are adequate enough.

but then there will be extra force for the front and back panel for the tank. Unless you make the frame sit on the rim on the side of the tank

Heh Heh...I thought you are in Class today? Anyway, saw a broader A design before, just can't remember where. So the one I drew out is like a miniture version of that setup.
