that's my experience. You need water change every 2-3 days, and take those algae by hands... after weeks, you will see it disappear, but you should maintain your tank every weeks to avoid the algae come back.

Treat it early, they'll dominate your plants. Cleaning the glass will be the easiest of parts.
They don't. You may want to keep some yamatos to keep control the growth but if it has infested quite abit.. manual removal and wc is the way to go.
i'm afraid not,they arent fed on this algae.you will have to remove them manually and do water changes .
shrimps donot eat hair algae, but heard that Siamese algae eater will eat.
