Looks like a damselfly nymph.. scoop it out as it preys on shrimplets.
oh my.. I'll have to go search for it again.
I've been thinking of changing the substrate to a dark coloured one. Perhaps this will be a good time to remove all the shrimps and clean out the tank? Or not?

Turn off the light and wait. It will usually come out of hiding when the lights are off. That is when you should try and find it.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.

u better go take it out fast .. try not to stir the sand though.. what i do to prevent this is to install a rainbar so that my water is stagnant and such insects wont lay eggs.. it might be due to newly purchased plants also.. anyway next time anything foreign you just take it out first![]()
thanks guys for the quick responses! I've found the offending fella and fished it out already.
Now.. i wonder how to dispose of it.. into the koi pond? I doubt he'll hurt those big fishes ya?

unless you have small fish or shrimp in there it should be ok. I would have flushed it though..![]()
