Will Eheim 2211 work with Redsun Cl-280 chiller?

I have just bought a Eheim 2211 intending to install with a redsun cl-280.. Any idea if it is possible for this combo to work? I have seen a few threads that says the flowrate is not enough and will damage the chiller. Is this true? If it is then i have wasted money.. Have to let it go cheap..

The 2211 is about 300 L/hr flow rate. It should work, but with very poor efficiency, even if you have a very short lift height and tubing run...

It won't damage the chiller though, more likely it will damage your electrical bill, heh.

If you haven't used it yet the shop you bought it from should be willing to let you upgrade it to a higher flow rate canister.

300l/h is theoretical flowrate, the flow will reduce with media inside. With slow florate your chiller will be facing start stop porblem and that will reduce you chiller life. byu the way the flow spec is >900 l/h
