Hi, just started on aquascaping, just need some advise on lighting system. Currently purchased a Aqua Zonic 24w x 4 T5 lighting, is it sufficient enough for a 2-3 ft tank? any recommendations?
Yeah it works fine for me bro. I'm currently using it on a 2ft tank and it was overkill especially if you have all 4 tubes on at the same time. Plus, my tank is considerably shallower than normal 2 ft tanks.
But overall it works well, i`ve been using mine for about 9 months now and its still going strong. My plants are still bubbling like crazy everyday. Maybe abit too successful ? hahaha ! Becos my HC has grown everywhere. I'm getting rid of some soon haha.

It sure is enough for a 2 ft tank! Thats 96 watts of light blasting into the tank. Do ensure that you have enough fertilisers and CO2 to keep up with the rate of plant growth, or else algae issues will soon develop.

2ft yes, 3ft no. For 3ft it is not about the wattage but the tube length. It is only about 2ft long unless you only want to grow plant under the light only, the one at the side no plant.
