    Hi,

Newbie here. Started on a marine tank 12 years ago then stopped the hobby due to work. Originally came from philippines, when i transfer to Singapore, now intending to take the challenge again. Still undecided whether to setup marine or do aquascaping. Still sourcing out some info on pros and mods here in AQ.

It also depend on yourself which one you have more passion in, fresh water planted or marine. But since 12 years is a huge gap, technologies have improve, some of the concept have changed. there may even one day, you have both fresh water and marine tanks.

Yes, that is what I've noticed. The setup and the equipments that I've used before is a bit different now, and there are more advance techniques.
