unclogging surface skimmer

Hi all, I have a Tom surface skimmer whish I've used for the last 6 mths - thing is, the screw part became stuck. Is there anything I can do to unclog it? Thanks

Hi anakin, do not know what is a tom surface skimmer, if it is like the one I am using which is all plastic and rubber part you can try dipping it in hot/warm water (not like boiling hot lah otherwise the rubber might be damage). If it is plant matter and dirt then after about an hour or so you should be able to free it.
