The stem of my Bacopa caroliniana is not red but green. Does it give out limony smell when you trim it off ?
Can't be 100% sure due to the cloudiness, but it should be Ammania sp. "Bonsai".

Thanks people, I still quite can't tell yet. I am still in the process of flooding the tank slowly. They don't seem too happy at the moment. I will come back on this again next week.
People, I think I need help on this.
Is it due to NPK issue? Trace? Excel? CO2?
Is it due to lighting?
Is it due to water not dechlorinated? (Nutrifin Aquaplus)
I am taking it very slowly with the tank already. Appreciate some help here.
Observation on my end, there is no physical algae, its seems like to turn dark greenish. I already dosed a small amount of FE. I am not sure if anything is wrong.
Its about one month since I bought this. I put it near to water surface on my 1ft until I planted into my rescape tank recently. I am putting all pride down, really want to save this little one, its an entire mesh of it I am talking about. Sorry about the blur pict. Hands still shaky.
I am estimating the rough figures. No chemistry background.
Total water Vol: 47.19L 12.47US Gallons
Co2 1 bps 24/7
Seachem series.
N - 12 ml
P - 4 ml
K - 4 ml
Trace - 4ml
Excel - 4ml
Fe - 1ml

The plant is probably still adapting to your tank water. Some plants tend to melt off when introduced into a new tank with fresh dechlorinated water. I don't think it is a Bacopa species, but others might have a better idea on the ID, if the water was not so murky Whale.
It could probably be the Ammania species that Mizu World pointed out.
Did you get this as cuttings tied to a piece of driftwood?
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
I can't id it either. At first was Bacopa nearest. But even Mizu picture shows the stem as red color, there is some color differentiate, I can't be sure; nevertheless it was the nearest identification so far.
I am quite frekky at the moment. I will do a water change and redose but without the excel first. See how it does tomorrow. ><

the leave of Ammania from felix_fx2 posted picture is pointy where as Blue_Whale picture is not. Unless I see wrongly due to unclear picture
Hi Shadow, nevertheless, I can still search under Ammania. Bacopa, I went through the different classes (hard to match unless it grows bigger) but I have not search Ammania. Aquanoob actually wanted to buy this, then he chuck it to me, I saw and I like it. Forgot if he pick the other one up. Overall all of you have been great help. Really exhausted...ha...apologies for that, but just want to express my gratitude to all of you.
Mizu, special thanks. But maybe this one would look closer, much much closer.http://bluethumbaquatics.com/AmmaniaspBonsai.aspx

A Liverpool Fan In Singapore
My 2 ft tank
Flora: Anubias barteri var Nana, var "Gold" and "mini", Crypto Wendtii, C.parva, Marsilea Hirsuta, Flame Moss, Hygrophila Polysperma, H.Violacea & H.Corymbosa, US Fissiden
Fauna: Guppy, Pelvicachromis Pulcher, Nannacara Anomala, Laetacara Araguaiae 'Buckelkopf'
Could be a Rotala sp grown emerged as the leaves looks similar to one.
Cheers

^^" Leaves too broad to be Ludwigia family. I think you can see from my Aquascaping section - rescape thread. Yes, I soak it until the roots grew longer. It was hanging from 3 plastic suckers hence the roots could grow downwards without the soil thingy. There is one on Ludwigia Brevipes there.
^^" Rotala sp leaves are sharp sharp ones. This one fatty. Hence would be a match also.
Appreciate your time to helping me to identify. As per this post, Mizu's identification still nearest by far. I still need to grow it further to see how tall it goes. I just need some plant data so I can control on the dosage since I am not using EI method at the moment.
Ammania sp bonsai from my tank (view from top) and it looks so different from the pic you have posted!!

Another pic when i got it first

Hmm...does look different. IDing plants have never been easy. And the plants are certainly too young at the moment. Guess I am back to square one at the moment.
The same stem plant is able to display a wide variation of colors and shapes under the slightest different conditions.
By the way, http://bluethumbaquatics.com/AmmaniaspBonsai.aspx is using an old pictue from us (that was from a very long time ago).
However, it makes me more positive of the ID of the stem you currently have.
Cheers,
Ben

Mizu, the top (my plant) isn't that obvious at the moment for id. It is still reaching upwards. I kinda like plants that reach out rather than making merry go round like rotala. I have decided to increase the book collection that I have on plants. So upcoming months would be kinda like being bookworm time. It has grown at least 2-3cm taller since I bought it. Growth speed is moderate and certainly adapting to water perimeter well. Once I done my reading, I should have a clearer picture what plant it is.
Umm...5cm tall and I am not able to recognise it already. Ammania Sp bonsai and Bacopa class both I am sure they are not. Now the stem near the roots are reddish in color but the upper side are green and growing like brevipes (top greenish) or rotala (bottom reddish). As I have both types of plants inside the current tank. It is a strange sight like a mix of the two classes. It's quite beautiful and good hidding area for my scarlet badis.
I will wait for another week or two before I post the the picture update again. ^^" still hard to determine. Going to move the fishes in during this weekend.
