Showdown between red and blue

Hi All,

It has been awhile since I last posted. Here is a recent mobile phone snap of stand-off between my bit. paracuuba and aga red in my heavily planted tank. Can see them flaring at each other and sometimes short chase but never any damage.

These are small fishes with big characters.

Do you have any female of each species in there?

Used to have females for both species but the bit. paracuuba female died of illness. Now only the aga red is in pair. Spotted the female in lemon color few times; but so far no fry in this community tank (don't expect success in breeding them there).

However I've collected a small group of fry from my 1ft apisto tank
