Sen breeding conditions?

Hi people,

Is it too early to identify the gender of a approx 9.5cm Sen?

It had a large anal fin for its size, and I think I saw it cup its anal fin while swimming at the LFS. I don't see my Sens do that so I bought him in the hopes they would breed.

Added some java ferns to the tank, and did a 50% water change for my Sens. Used blocks ice to get the temperature down to 26+ degrees. Live feeder ghost shrimps as their main source of food. I'll throw in Hikari carnivore pellets every now and then for variety in diet.

Is it too early for Sens to reach mating maturity? Please advice, thanks!
Reference to the attached, the fat albino Sens are 13-14 cm in length.
