my setup still doing good without the filter. no deaths so far. still have 10 cherry about 1.5cm or less. thanks again for the info of your HOS filter.
Recently did some trimming of plants and "re-scaping" (haha not much space to move around in the circular tank of mine (only 6 inch wide)).
The cherry red shrimps are growing - I see the little baby shrimps growing into mid-szie now. There is another batch of smaller shrimps. I added in 3 green shrimps and they are very hungry always.
The IKEA lamp is lighting up the place well. My colleaque has given me some water plants which I "stick" it up with the acrylic cover (this is to prevent dust from going in as well to reduce evaporation and shrimps from jumping out)
I don't use a fan although there is one for myself as my office air-con don't really blow directly to me. So in the weekend, the office temperature will rise to "warm" but during the week it should be nice and cool in the day.
