You can get 200 neon tetras for $10 in one for the LFS at Pasir Ris fish farms. Turn left at the T-junction in front of Ericsson pet site

My neons were bought at around 4 for $1 at NA.
I think $1 is QianHu, they sell higher but they have much a large range of fish + accessories.

My 2FT tank with water fully filled can hold 40 Cardinal Tetras. But have to make sure that the water quality and circulation is good.
Why don't u consider Cardinal Tetras, I got them at C328 at $38 (30pcs).

Good buy of Cardinal & Neon Tetra, can try That Aquarium in Yishun if you are putting up in the North.
Apparently they selling in 50's. Gotten my Cardinal & Green Tetra from there. Still going strong except for some casualty, due to my lack of experience.

Sea view at seletar got many tetras. They sell in batches. $20 for 50 if I'm not wrong.
