Alan,
How about 'Hamburger MattenFilter/Henri deBruyn'? If that link doesn't work, try this.

Here's the overflow box for my marine tank.
And the rough dimension of the box.
You can request the arcrylic shop to cut the size you want.
Then using the arcrylic glue to stick.
Another one of my overflow box which using for my 2ft cube fowlr tank .
Helmet just shows the size for comparison. I am using Eheim 1262 (3400L/H) pump for this setup.

World record?? I am not sure.
Wow....i never notice there's a big project is going on.
Somehow i am still in office where all pictures/images are blocked by company firewall.
I'll check back your shrimp project picture when i get home.
Initially i am considering to use the overflow pipe system as well.
Somehow after much consideration, i am quite worry about lose siphon whereby air trap at the "U" position causing flood (especially saltwater tank).
Also unable to monitor how much air was trap in the "U" time after time.
As for overflow box, the transparent weir which easily can seen through so can monitor the air trap and release/suck out the air when neccessary
Also the overflow pipe might not able to cope the flowrate required for me as using a 3400L/H pump.
Will give some comments on your thread after read and check your setup.
Good luck!!![]()
Confirm cannot cope your 3400 l/h. mine is only like 700 l/h. you would need 10 numbers of 2cm pipes to cope with your flow rate.
