set up

[marine beginner]

Hi,

I plan to have LR and crown fish for my tank. Right now, I'm setting up for cycling of water.

Do I place the following in the tank before/during cycling?
1. LR
2. coral sand
3. 1 crown fish
4. rocks/artifical LR
5. anything else?

what are the water parameters I should be looking out for right now?

i would recommend that u fully cycle your tank before dumping in any form of life forms, be it live rocks or live stock... water parameters should be as follows before u do so, NH3 = 0, NO2 = 0... try looking at the threads that had been posted in the marine forum.. there are some threads that other forumers had posted on setting up a tank... if not, u can look at the aquatic FAQ forum... any other queries pls enquire..
