Your lights are not that much.
You can doze macros and micros once a week.
Cheers, Christophe
Hi, Recently bought an stable 2.5 footer from a hobbyist, the specs are
110 Liters
48 W T5, 11 hours per day
Eheim Ecco 2232
Pressurized Co2 at 1 bps
Soild ADA Amozonia
base Fertilizer ****UNKNOWN***
UV sterlizer
I was advised by the seller that the setup is very stable and his maintenance schedule is to top-up the evaporated water with seachem prime.
In recent times I am seeing green alge growth and green water. I am not sure if this is because of the soil disturbance during transportation.
As per advise from a hobbyist, I did a 50% water change and added amazon frogbits, the situation seems to improve.
Kindly advise if it is recommended to dose NPK and ferts, as I am not sure abt the base ferts, I am struggling to find a starting point for the dosing schedule and the quantity.
Please help
Thanks

is your tank happen near window or receive direct sun light? You are using UV sterilizer, make sure it is ON. It should solve the green water.
Reduce your light to 8hrs a day or at max 10hrs a day.
Hi Shadow/Robert,
Thanks a lot,
Can you kindly guide me what should be the weekly dosing of NPK and micros ?
Kinldly guide me on the recommended fert brand.
Also , do I still go with 50%water change weekly with top-up of evaporated water every 2 days.
Thanks
Shadow,
Think UV light also have a lifespan for the bulb in it.
Since Kumar bro got it from a hobbyist, the bulb maybe EOL and needs to be replaced.
But then i can be wrong about this as i don't use one myself.

Fert brand : try full seachem brand ( much more simpler ) And since your tank is not too big shld not be to expensive. Approx. $60
Can try Wondergro macro and micro $10 - $20
These are less troublesome ferts to use. And cheaper than fert brands like ADA... ( in my opinion )_
50% is good practice but depends on your fert dosage and bioload that will affect how much water you should change and how often
Cheers,
JJ
