Apisto ID needed

Hello,

Anyone recognize this fellow:



The only information the supplier had was "Apistogramma Orange Tail". Some of the males did have stunning orange tails but were hard to catch. I had to settle with what came up in the net.

Based on the trade name, it is probably a form of Apistogramma eunotus. See this page on RVA aka Rayon Vert Aqua:

They call it Ap. eunotus "Orange Tail". Should probably fit your description.

Most of these oddballs always have some trade name attached, but at times there have been confusion. Was the ID correct? The ones in the RVA pics are nice, but as always, the Japanese get the best stuff.
