Beginer looking for female Apisto. agassizii

appreciate if any Brothers sisters can help. Recently i just got a chance to get one male Apistogramma_Agassizii (as following photo) to start up, does any brother; sister here have extra female to offer? or any place near serangoon area ,where i can purchase? the most i need 2 female of this fish .
If none of above are avialable , what will be the best female type i can match with this.

When buying from the LFS, it is very much a "tikam" aka guessing game. The female you see may not be a female, but rather a sneaker or juvenile male parading as female.

I remember taygu had many of this agassizii Red. You can try and PM taygu and ask if he still has any for sale.

Easier to guess now since most if not all the "pairs" from the farms are actually 2M pairs rather than 1M/1F . I think I did see an agassizii "Alenquer" female there a few days ago but the male looks as if he has a short body. I hope they don't go the way of the Balloon Ram with the shortened body form.
