yah, a larger tank can maintain the temperature longer than a smaller one.
Hi bros and sis. my apologies if this sounds like a noob question but i have been troubled by this concept for quite some time. Is it true that a larger tank is able to maintain temperature more stable than smaller sized tank? eg 2ft vs 1ft tank.
i tried to google it up but i cant find anything close to it.. Could anybody help to explain?![]()

Diazman, 2ft vs 1ft is too narrow a comparison to make. A 4ft vs 2ft is an ideal comparison.

Essentially, more time is required to cool or heat a larger volume of water.
Hence the ability of a larger volume of water to keep a smaller divergence/range in temperature.
