Should be easy in my opinion, not a demanding plant.

Just plant then resist the urge to shift it. Crypts are heavy root feeders, so it would be helpful if you have rich substrate or insert root tabs around the plant.

relatively easy plant. Fast grower in my opinion, like what bro bossteck said, they are heavy root feeder, they grow nicely with root monsters or root ferts around them
thanks for the input all! I will scout for one now. heh![]()
Advice from boss Felix
Cryptocoryne wendtii is readily available in C328 as I often see it when I was there. Sometime can even see Cryptocoryne wendtii "red" available too.

Crptocoryne wendtii is relatively easy for beginner.
Do well in non co2 environment.
Just got to clean up initially when the crypt started to melt down.
Cryptocoryne wendtii easy for beginner in a way = less light, less CO2, and less fertilization it will still grow. However, you have to let it melt first before new shoots can develop. That is the thing about crypts. They melt when you move them. Don't lose heart.

Not for C.Wendtii even if you have very low light & CO2 it does not take as long as 1 year.
