i guess you will still need some sort of ventiliation. all equipment will contribute to heating up of the temperature in the cabinet

planning to start a 1ft cube planted (or similar size tank) inside my self-made cabinet tank... this cabinet has little or no ventilation. this planted tank will have all the equipments like fan, light and filter.. i wonder issit workable? need you guys input.. thanks!

is the blowing fan enough to keep the cabinet ventilated?
Maybe just to cut two small hole behind the cabinet to have exchange of air? 1 in 1 out. Don't have to get those 6x6 cm fan, just a 3x3 cm fan will do

but why are you hiding your tank in the cabinet?secret breeding project?
you can get those air duct to either suck/blow the air out the cabinet for better air circulation/ventilation/temperature.

cabinet with glass door?

hmm..the cabinet is built to hide such things and end up moving elsewhere defeats the purpose of the cabinet..
nope.. its my 4x2x2ft arowana tank.. no other place to put a small tank so this tank in cabinet thingy came to my mind.
nope.. have to open to view it..
not possible bro.. the holes are very near to the wall behind the tank..

if you keep the tank in the cabinet, isn't it going to build a very moist and warm environment in the cabinet? Those cabinets with sump tank have a lot of ventilation hole cut in the cabinet.
